Contract Manager
Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Contract Manager / Contract Negotiator to support and manage contracting activities for existing vendor relationships. This role plays a key part in ensuring contracts are competitive, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.

You will lead negotiations, manage contract lifecycles, and partner closely with stakeholders to deliver efficient and effective contracting solutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupport contracting efforts for existing vendor relationships, including:Drafting, reviewing, and managing contract amendments and renewalsPrepare and negotiate contracts for standard products and servicesLead negotiations on pricing, terms, and conditions while balancing risk and business needsCollaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into contractual languageUse procurement/workflow tools (e.g., Zip HQ or similar) to manage:Contract workflowsApprovalsDocumentationMaintain accurate and organized contract records for easy access and complianceManage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are metCommunicate contract status, risks, and updates clearly and timely to stakeholdersExercise independent judgment in resolving issues and escalating risks when necessaryBuild and maintain positive working relationships with vendors and internal partnersContribute to process improvements and contracting best practicesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field1–3 years of relevant experience in contracting, procurement, or negotiationsDemonstrated understanding of contract terms and negotiation strategiesExperience negotiating pricing and contract termsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesClear and effective communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentPreferred QualificationsAcademic back ground in Business, Marketing, Finance, or Pre-LawExperience with Zip HQ or similar procurement/workflow toolsStrong attention to detail when reviewing legal or contractual documentsExperience working in structured procurement or contract management environmentsDemonstrated success working cross-functionally with stakeholdersInterest in continuous improvement and process optimizationWork EnvironmentHybrid schedule: 3 days onsite (Tuesday–Thursday) in Minnetonka, MNProfessional office setting with a focus on collaboration, communication, and process-driven workRegular interaction with internal stakeholders and external vendor partnersWhy Join Us?Opportunity to lead meaningful contract negotiationsCollaborative and supportive team environmentExposure to cross-functional business operationsCareer growth within procurement and contract managementJob Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Hopkins, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $43.00/hr.
