OUR TEAM
As part of our VTS business, our PRV team is primarily focused on the design, manufacture, delivery and support of protected mobility vehicles on a global scale. We are very proud of everything we do in support of both the Bushmaster and Hawkei platforms as we all work together towards our purpose.
YOUR ROLE:
Come and join us as a Contract Manager where you will be working as a part of our Legal, Contracts & Compliance team. You will be responsible for superior contract management support within the PRV business, with a focus on a long-term protected vehicle acquisition contract.
Working at our Brisbane, Eagle Farm office, on Jagera and Turrbul Land, your day to day responsibilities include:
Deliver contract management activities to ensure project delivery outcomes are achieved and provide sound contract / commercial management advice to internal stakeholders.
Proactively support the preparation and monitoring of contract change proposals, in accordance with contract requirements and obligations.
Preparation of formal commercial responses to both customer and suppliers in conjunction with the project management.
Manage preparation of key contract management deliverables for submission to and discussion with the customer, and attendance at key customer meetings.
Adhere to functional procedures specific to the job family, business line and Thales contract management processes.
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:
Experience with government contracting (e.g. ASDEFCON and performance-based contracting) is highly desirable.
Legal or professional Commercial / Contract management qualifications desirable.
Confidence in interpreting and applying contract documents (contract general terms, payment schedules, contract deliverable schedules and the like), in a project management environment.
Experience with drafting contract reports, subcontracting arrangements, formal letters and Contract Change Proposals.
Defence industry and sustainment contract experience highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to engage successfully with customers and suppliers to achieve outcomes, aligned to project delivery.
