**Job Description**
As part of AECOM’s Transit & Rail business, the **Contract Expert – Systems** supports the full lifecycle of contract management for metro system projects, including signaling, rolling stock, power supply, telecommunications, and track systems. The role ensures that contracts are effectively drafted, negotiated, and executed while maintaining compliance with legal, regulatory, and project-specific requirements. Based in-house with periodic site visits, you will interface daily with engineering, procurement, project management, and construction teams to ensure contractual obligations align with project goals and timelines.
**Job Duties:**
+ Develop, review, and negotiate contracts for metro system components, ensuring alignment with project objectives and compliance with applicable laws and standards.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to finalize contract terms, conditions, and deliverables.
+ Monitor contract performance, ensuring adherence to agreed timelines, budgets, and specifications.
+ Maintain comprehensive records of contracts, amendments, and correspondence for audit and compliance purposes.
+ Identify and mitigate risks associated with metro system contracts, including delays, cost overruns, and disputes.
+ Proactively address potential issues through effective communication and negotiation with stakeholders.
+ Act as the primary point of contact for all contract-related matters with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
+ Facilitate coordination between engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless execution of contracts.
**Qualifications**
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering ( Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering).
A Master’s degree in Contract Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.

10+ years of total professional experience, with a strong focus on contract management.
