Title: Controls Engineer

Location: On-Site in Atlanta, GA

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday

Duration: 6 Weeks

Overview:

Our client, headquartered in Hanover Park, Illinois, is seeking a Contract Controls Engineer to support a 6 week engagement at a medical device facility in Atlanta, Georgia. The selected candidate will play a key role in commissioning and integrating automated production lines utilizing Rockwell/Allen-Bradley platforms.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Design and develop PLC/HMI applications in alignment with project specifications using Rockwell Automation platformsLead the planning, evaluation, and execution of automation initiatives across production systemsDiagnose and resolve issues in existing installations to improve equipment reliabilityRepair, refactor, and upgrade legacy control code to meet current standards and performance expectationsProvide technical expertise in electrical and controls engineering to support both existing and new equipmentServe as the internal subject matter expert on PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, motion control systems, system integration, and electromechanical devicesCreate, modify, and replicate PLC programs for proprietary process control systems

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.

As a full time employee of Weldcoa, you are eligible for our benefits program which includes:

Vacation time:
- 40 hours of vacation time after 1 year
- 80 hours after 2 years

Please note, at no time can any employee take more than two weeks of vacation consecutively.
