Contracts Analyst
The Contracts Analyst is responsible for the full lifecycle management of complex legal agreements, including leases, service contracts, IT service contracts, software licenses, SaaS agreements, telecommunications contracts, and enterprise security agreements. This role involves preparing, reviewing, negotiating, and interpreting legal documents to ensure compliance with company standards, contract terms, and applicable state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, analyze, and maintain a wide range of contracts and legal documents
Negotiate terms and conditions for IT and non-IT service agreements
Ensure compliance with risk management standards, insurance requirements, and regulatory obligations
Use contract management systems to track, store, and manage agreements and related documentation
Conduct research and provide guidance to internal teams, attorneys, and stakeholders on contractual rights, obligations, and lease payments
Compile reports and maintain vendor records, including approvals, waivers, certificates of insurance, and prequalification documentation
Recommend system and process improvements based on independent analysis and judgment
Ensure accurate recordkeeping and adherence to documentation standards
Qualifications:
Experience with complex IT contracts, software licensing, and industry regulations
Proficient in Microsoft Word, spreadsheet tools, and contract management software
Strong understanding of contract law, insurance coverage, records management, and business communications
Legal or paralegal background preferred
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
Ability to interpret legal documents and apply policies with attention to detail
Valid driver’s license required
