Purpose: The Contracts Analyst is responsible managing the administration and workflow of physician consulting agreements for Abiomed’s operations. This remote position is based out of Abiomed’s headquarters in Danvers, MA, and will report to the Director of Professional Education, working in close collaboration with the Legal Team, Compliance, and Clinical Trials teams. The ideal candidate has experience in contracts administration. As a valued partner to the business, the Contracts Analyst requires effective communication skills with both internal and external clientele, including key opinion leaders. You will be responsible for: + Administer, track and manage the entire lifecycle workflow of physician consulting agreements, from procurement request intake to signatures with external stakeholders and repository filing. + Verify engagements align with approved annual Needs Assessment provided by various departments. + Process Fair Market Value Assessment by reviewing physician CVs to determine the appropriate hourly rates within the guidelines. + Identify issues in contract redlines and elevate them for additional input from the Legal Team. + Employ Abiomed's contract lifecycle management system, LinkSquares, to track and provide weekly status reports and as a repository to store and track for potential renewals prior to expiration. + Work cross functionally across all departments within Abiomed to ensure FMV and contracting is consistent and compliant to meet the needs of the organization. + Perform and documenting sanctions checks of physicians and organizations. + And additional responsibilities as needed. Qualifications / Requirements: + Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certificate; equivalent experience will also be considered. + Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint). + Familiarity with document organization or procurement is preferred. + Excellent computer skills and attention to detail. + Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks and timelines simultaneously. + Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. + A candidate who demonstrates adaptability and collaboration. + Ability to work independently and cross functionally in a matrix environment. The expected base pay range for this position is $63,000.00 to $102,350.00. Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
