BAE Systems, one of the world's leading defense contractors and a Fortune 500 Company, is looking for an entry-level Contracts Administrator I to join our growing Combat Mission Systems (Combat Vehicles) business at BAE Systems Land & Armaments L.P. This role supports the future of Combat Vehicles through the Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV), which is poised to lead the U.S. Army into the next generation of Combat Vehicles. Working within the AMPV portfolio, the highly motivated team member will apply and expand on knowledge, skills and experience to coordinate and assist with management of complex programs through capture and execution.

**As a Contract Administrator, you will:**
+ Develop a working understanding of the US government acquisition and procurement process, the BAE Systems Contracts function and relevant Company policies and procedures, FAR/DFARS and other government regulations.
+ Review solicitations and prepares routine response for proposals, bids, and contract modifications
+ Prepare simple requests for proposals
+ Analyze contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies and business unit procedure
+ Draft and negotiate simple contractual instruments commensurate with skills and grade level
+ Communicate contract policy and practice to internal business teams
+ Ensures contract review, approval and execution in accordance with corporate and/or business unit guidelines
+ Prepare and administer routine correspondence, negotiation memoranda, and contract documentation to ensure timely and coordinated submittal
+ Prepare, organize and maintain contract records and files documenting contract performance and compliance
+ May conduct research to support contract audit and/or facilitate business unit contracting trends
+ Perform contract closeout activities
+ Assist mid- to high-level contract professionals in working with internal or external business teams on issues and developments relative to assigned contracts
+ This is a hybrid position, located in York, PA or Sterling Heights, MI with 10% travel.
+ This is a 9/80 schedule, where you will have every other Friday off
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ High School Diploma with at least 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
+ Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
+ Ability to communicate policies and interpret regulations
+ Exhibits sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel, customers and suppliers
+ Utilize computer skills to prepare appropriate reports and documents in Microsoft 365
+ Ability to prioritize and multitask
+ Excellent organizational and follow through skills
+ Adapt to high volume workload
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Bachelor s Degree
+ Knowledge of Contracting
+ Knowledge of FAR/DFAR
+ Proactive and self-motivated
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $51273 - $87164
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
