Job Description:
Parsons is anticipating the need for a Contract Administrator to join our team and support on a complex infrastructure project in Dublin. In this role, you will support the administration of commercial contracts, ensuring accurate records, effective risk management, and clear communication of contractual obligations, enabling informed decision-making and effective governance.
What You'll Be Doing:
Draft, review, and finalize contracts, ensuring terms and conditions are clear and comply with organizational policies and legal requirements.
Maintain organized, up-to-date, and secure records of all contracts and related documentation, ensuring easy accessibility.
Identify, assess, and support mitigation of risks associated with contract administration activities.
Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on contract-related queries and communicate contract terms and conditions.
Update and maintain contract management systems with accurate and current information.
Track contract milestones, deadlines, and renewals, and generate reports on contract status and performance.
Support contract negotiations by preparing reports and providing contract status and performance information.
Assist with invoicing, payment processing, and other financial tasks related to contracts.
Support communication and collaboration with vendors and suppliers.
Perform additional duties as required or assigned.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
5 to 10 years’ experience in contract administration or a contract support role on high-value infrastructure or construction projects, depending on level.
Experience assisting with drafting, reviewing, and administering commercial contracts.
Experience working with a range of internal and external stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple data inputs and reporting requirements.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Understanding of cost management principles, methods, and tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
NEC Reg or similar contract administration certification.
Professional membership such as SCSI, RICS, CIOB, IEI, CIArb, or equivalent.
