Contract Administrator
Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Contract Administrator to join one of Alberta’s leading utility companies on a 6 month hybrid contract, with a strong possibility of extension. The role involves supporting material vendors and construction execution teams by applying detailed, analytical contract preparation and administrative support. Contract Administrator duties include: - Work with the Project Team to gather, document, and prepare quired construction information to build standardized contracts or statement of work documents from standard form contracts to fit project needs - Assist the Procurement Team the review, prepare and submit pre-bid qualification criteria - Coordinate pre and post award bid reviews on contractual obligations - Evaluate bid packages ensuring a fair and transparent process involving the Project Team for bid evaluation - Document all bid evaluations and recommendations - Perform contact administration ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions - Work with the procurement team to create, initiate, develop, and manage bid proposals - Support proposal planning activities We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements - 4 + years experience in a related field - Comprehensive knowledge of public procurement processes, competitive bidding laws and contract law - Possess a strong understanding of contract execution - Document control experience using an EDMS, ideally Oracle Aconnex - Excellent negotiation and communications skills with the ability to effectively work between cross functional teams - Proven ability to manage contracts throughout a project's lifecycle, from inception to closeout - Ability to manage conflicting priorities, set project precedents and work collaboratively - Strong proficiency with MS Suite, Oracle and SharePoint - Utility experience null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
