Our client is hiring a highly skilled and bilingual Finance Advisor with a CPA designation to join their national team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting operations across Canada, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The Finance Advisor will act as a trusted partner to leadership and operations teams, helping to drive efficiency, accuracy, and informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities Act as a business financial partner with various branches and internal departments Build and present key performance indicators and help management understand the resulting financial issues Liaise with month-end team to understand financials and monthly finance package Contribute to the planning and coordination of the annual budget process Support operations by carrying out various analyses and continuous improvement projects Prepare different financial analyses and make recommendations Participate in RFP submissions, quotes, cost price analysis profitability analysis and client bidding process Participate in finance related tasks such as: acquisition-integration, labor relation modeling, National client invoices reconciliation, etc.
Qualifications University degree in accounting, Finance and/or equivalent At least 5 years of experience in a similar position Strong with Microsoft office suite (particularly Excel) – Strong with PowerBI The Candidate must have experience working with large dataset consolidation and integration Excellent ability to analyze and improve business processes Dynamic, autonomous and methodical, demonstrating a good analytical ability Proactive attitude to collecting and validating financial information Business acumen, good priorities management and meeting deadlines The ability to adapt to a constantly and rapidly changing environment Demonstrates initiative in problem-solving and advisory issues Utilize financial mindset to analyze day-to-day business decisions Accommodations are available upon request to support your participation during all stages of the recruitment process.
