Continuous Improvement Lean Leader
Eaton’s Aerospace Group is hiring a Continuous Improvement Lean Leader. **What you’ll do:** **PRIMARY FUNCTION:** The Aerospace Group is seeking a dynamic **Continuous Improvement (CI) Leader** to drive operational excellence across the business. This role will lead the deployment of the internal Eaton Business System (EBS), focusing on Lean Management, Six Sigma (ELSS), and core CI tools (CIF, OpA) to optimize manufacturing performance. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead CI strategy deployment across Manufacturing Operations using ELSS and Lean tools. + Establish standard work and a Lean Management System to reduce process variation. + Coach leadership on Lean and servant leadership principles to build a CI culture. + Expand CI capabilities by integrating Lean, Manufacturing, and Process Engineers. + Drive adoption of Balanced Scorecard (BSC), Business Operating System (BOS), and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM). + Coordinate EBE, ELSS, and MESH assessments and manage gap closure plans. + Support cross-functional teams in applying CI tools to solve operational challenges. **Additional Experience:** + Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and CI leadership. + Strong coaching, facilitation, and change management skills. + Experience deploying CI tools across multi-site or matrixed organizations. **Qualifications:** **Basic Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in a technical field from an accredited institution. + Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing roles, including at least 5 years in manufacturing leadership. + Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship. + Must be a U.S. person under ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee). **Preferred Qualifications:** + Demonstrated success in deploying CI initiatives across large organizations. + Working knowledge of Eaton Business Excellence (EBE) and EBS tools helpful but not required. + Expertise in Lean manufacturing systems and Kaizen event leadership. + Strong leadership, interpersonal, and change management skills. + Proficiency in Six Sigma, 8D, Lean, Balanced Scorecard, BOS, or equivalent tools. + MBA or advanced degree in Operations Management. + Prior experience as a Plant Manager or in a senior operations leadership role preferred but not mandated. + Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to coach at all levels. The expected annual salary range for this role is $176249.97 - $258499.96 a year.
