Job Description

Eurofins Built Environment Testing is seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader to join our team! The Continuous Improvement Leader will be in charge of developing, planning, and executing the strategy that results in eliminating waste, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing market share. The Continuous Improvement Leader is not only highly competent as a process manager skilled in project design, planning, and implementation to ensure performance and process development, but also as a leader who drives the CI initiatives set for Eurofins Built Environment Testing.

 Continuous Improvement Leader responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Managing and facilitating all Continuous Improvement initiatives and strategyDriving a continuous improvement culture within the organization by prioritizing opportunities and execution of a Lean transformation strategy and metricsUsing metrics to provide support to process owners in linking projects to strategic operational objectivesDriving plant cost savings initiativesAssisting teams in developing Lean roadmaps to use in the deployment of strategic objectivesEnsuring successful definition and execution of large, cross-functional improvement initiatives tied to annual strategic prioritiesIdentifying best practices within and outside the company and serving as a channel for best-practice sharing and adoption across business unitsProviding guidance for projects and kaizen eventsManaging and facilitating continuous improvement projects and kaizen events to improve productivity and accelerate growthChallenging organizational leaders when necessary to create an action-based culture of continuous improvement and increase CI and Lean-oriented thinking throughout the organizationWorking with the finance department to evaluate project savings estimates, validate reported CI benefits, and ensure accurate accounting of CI productivity

Analyzing company processes and proceduresDeveloping process enhancement strategiesEstablishing norms and standards of company performanceMonitoring staff performance and organizational processesCommunicating ideas and opinions to other members of managementTraining, mentoring, and guiding team members in new processesStaying up-to-date with developments in management and process optimizationProviding reporting regarding process updates and overall results and company performance

Continuous Improvement 5S Lean Service Enterprises KaizenPowerBILean Six Sigma MethodologyRoot Cause AnalysisValue Stream MappingProficiency in commonly used and specialized softwareStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, including advanced skills with ExcelDemonstrated ability to work in high paced and changing environmentsPrevious Experience with Financial Planning or Controller experience

 Basic Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Finance or other related field5+ years of experience in process optimization, operations, or business management1-3 years of previous Continual Improvement Process experienceProven results with Six Sigma, Lean Service Enterprises and Continuous ImprovementPassionate about continuous improvement, teaching and coaching.Advanced skills in the use of data management tools to monitor progress toward goals

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business section, and geographic location
