Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive Continuous Improvement (CI) Coordinator to lead Lean and CI initiatives within our Cut & Sew operations in Tangier. The role focuses on enhancing productivity, quality, and ergonomics through consistent application of Lean tools and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate CI projects in cutting and sewing areas.
• Develop and support a small CI team, ensuring focus on key priorities and measurable results.
• Drive Lean practices (Kaizen, 5S, SMED, Standard Work, Waste Elimination).
• Track and report CI metrics (scrap, efficiency, downtime).
• Conduct Gemba walks and support CI training to strengthen a culture of improvement.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Engineering diploma (Industrial, Production, or related).
• 4–7 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, ideally in cut & sew.
Technical Skills
• Knowledge of Lean tools and principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with SMED, VSM, and visual management systems.
• Exposure to automotive trim covers or textile production.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.
