What You'll Do
Global Operations Leadership
Own and lead the global operating model for contingent workforce operations within the Contingent IQ CoE.Ensure consistent execution of policies, processes, and controls across regions.Translate functional and workforce strategy into executable operational plans.Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and service quality.Compliance, Risk & Governance
Accountable for operational compliance with local labor laws, worker classification rules, tenure limits, and tax requirements.Design, maintain, and enhance governance frameworks to mitigate contingent workforce risk.Serve as escalation point for complex or high-risk contingent workforce cases.Partner with Legal, Risk, and Tax teams to embed preventive controls and risk mitigation.Systems, Data & Reporting
Own the operational use and evolution of SAP Fieldglass, Workday, and related system integrations.Ensure data accuracy, audit readiness, and reporting integrity.Develop operational dashboards and insights to support senior stakeholder decision-making.Drive automation, standardization, and simplification of operational processes.Vendor & MSP Management
Own operational relationships with MSP(s) and contingent workforce suppliers.Define, monitor, and manage SLAs, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.Lead operational aspects of vendor selection, onboarding, transitions, and performance management.Ensure vendors deliver against BCG standards, policies, and risk requirements.Stakeholder Partnership
Act as a trusted operational partner to senior stakeholders across HR, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and business leadership.Influence outcomes by constructively challenging assumptions and proposing scalable solutions.Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead and develop the Contingent IQ operations team.Own team structure, capacity planning, capability development, and succession planning.Set clear performance expectations and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Coach and mentor team members to build long-term CoE capability.Decision-Making Authority & Accountability

Essential
Significant experience (typically 12+ years) in contingent workforce operations, workforce programs, or adjacent HR operations roles.Deep operational expertise in VMS platforms (SAP Fieldglass preferred), MSP models, and supplier ecosystems.Strong understanding of global labor regulations, compliance frameworks, and worker risk management.Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional operational initiatives.Desirable
Proven experience designing, scaling, and operating global contingent workforce programs.Experience operating within a global Center of Excellence model.Hands-on experience with VMS–HCM integrations and workforce analytics.Experience leading operational transformation and change initiatives.Additional info
Role Summary
The HR Operations Senior Manager for the Contingent IQ Centre of Excellence (CoE) is responsible for leading and continuously improving the global operational delivery of BCG’s contingent workforce model. This role owns the end-to-end operational framework underpinning contingent workforce engagement, ensuring scalable, compliant, and high-quality execution across regions.
Operating with significant autonomy, the role partners closely with senior stakeholders across Talent, Procurement, Legal, Finance, Risk, and the business to translate functional strategy into effective operational outcomes. The role is accountable for operational performance, governance, and delivery excellence within the Contingent IQ CoE.
