Continent Planning & Ops Lead

Job Description

As a Continent Planning & Ops Lead, your main focus will be to drive operational excellence and optimize supply flows across markets by managing allocation, replenishment, digital fulfilment parameters, and cross‑functional coordination with logistics. You ensure consistent standards, efficient stock movements, and successful implementation of network and delivery frameworks at a continent level.

This on-site role reports into our Inventory Optimization Manager and is based out of New York Support Office.

A Day in the Life

Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities*

Operational excellence

Responsible for the follow-up on operational standards across Planning Markets, incl. parameters, process updates, pre-season settingsResponsible for standardized processes across Planning Markets for allocation and replenishment strategies

Continent supply optimization

Pre-season:          

Oversee together with D&S Specialist stock deployment on Planning Market/ RW levelFlag risks related to capacity and operational constraints  based on supply plans

In Season:

Follow-up together with D&S Specialist on disbalances of supply in relation to demand  between Planning Markets and act with:

 

Moves:

Responsible for planning and operation of stock balance actions between Planning Markets/ RWOwn moves budget and forecast process and ensure involvement from logisticsFollow up on the moves uplift, profit and lead timesSPOC for logistics on moves

 

Digital fulfillment:

Own sourcing and splits budgeting and forecastingResponsible to steer digital fulfillment parameters to meet demand plan from Planning Markets/RWs/  SMsFollow up on sale uplift , cost and profit of digital fulfillment actionsSPOC for logistics on sourcing            Post season:Set budget and forecast of exits strategies across Planning Markets

Continent Logistics

Together with continent logistics set the framework for delivery frequency for the continentSupport Continent Logistics in implementing and harmonizing standard delivery schedules and frequencies across SMsResponsible for network strategy implementation and related projects (optimization , ramp-up, ramp down )

 

Qualifications

Who You Are:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative fieldLogistics and fulfillment expertise: Solid understanding of warehouse operations, order fulfillment flows, and transport capacity managementOperational problem-solving: Hands-on mindset with the ability to resolve bottlenecks, anticipate constraints, and adapt plans quicklyPlanning and coordination: Strong ability to align supply, logistics, and market needs to ensure feasible and efficient stock movementsAnalytical capability: Skilled in analyzing fulfillment KPIs and logistics data to identify root causes and improvement opportunities3–5 years of experience in logistics, fulfillment, or supply chain operations within retail, fashion, or FMCG with proven track record of working with warehouse or transport planning, order management, or stock flow coordination

Compensation: salary is $136,560
