Content Strategist/Writer – Associate Manager, Global Corporate Communications

Overview PepsiCo is seeking a Content Strategist/Writer to join its global communications team to write, shape and deliver compelling, audience-first content across PepsiCo corporate channels. This role will support content creation efforts in close partnership with global communications social strategists, content producers and editors, employee communications and internal partners. The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer and creative thinker with a passion for storytelling, a collaborative mindset and the ability to translate business priorities and corporate reputation initiatives and stories into engaging content. Responsibilities Partner with communications colleagues, social strategists and internal stakeholders to build integrated content strategies that support PepsiCo’s global communications and corporate reputation priorities. Write high-quality content, including articles, scripts and social copy, ensuring clarity, accuracy and alignment with brand tone and voice. Work with social team to develop clear content briefs for key moments and stories. Review, edit and refine content for tone, grammar and consistency, maintaining high editorial standards. Work with content studio, producers and editors to action content briefs and ensure the messaging is carried through to the creative. Identify opportunities to connect storytelling across platforms, ensuring consistency and resonance across channels with internal partners. Partner on the development of content across formats—written, video, animation, graphics — ensuring alignment with PepsiCo’s brand voice, tone and visual identity. Collaborate with creative teams, vendors and production partners to bring content strategies to life with high-quality execution. Engage with functional teams across the business to understand priorities and shape how those are communicated through storytelling. Support editorial board processes and contribute to content planning across global and regional calendars. Manage editorial calendars and content workflows for assigned projects. Contribute to the development of playbooks, toolkits and best practices that support scalable content operations. Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $89,000 - $149,000. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement. Qualifications 5–7 years of experience in content strategy, editorial, digital journalism and/or content marketing. Proven ability to develop and guide content across multiple formats and platforms. Strong background in editorial writing across platforms, with the ability to distill complex topics into clear, engaging narratives. Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing external creative partners. Familiarity with digital publishing tools, editorial workflows and content governance. Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, global environment. Agency, journalism or in-house content background a plus.
