This role is central to creating a cohesive content ecosystem that fuels demand generation, product marketing, and thought leadership, all mapped to the cybersecurity buyer journey.
We’re looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution: comfortable driving big-picture editorial planning while also rolling up their sleeves to write crisp, compelling content across multiple formats.
What You’ll Do:
Develop & Lead Content Strategy — Build and evolve a content strategy that aligns with marketing goals, product positioning, and key audience needs across industries and segments.
Plan & Manage Editorial Calendar — Own the content roadmap to support launches, campaigns, events, and thought leadership; identify content gaps and opportunities by monitoring industry news, ransomware trends, and competitor activity.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally — Partner with product marketing, demand gen, sales, researchers, and executives to ensure accuracy, alignment, and impact.
Create High-Value Content — Produce and edit content spanning whitepapers, blogs, case studies, solution briefs, landing pages, emails, video scripts, and social posts.
Drive SEO & Performance — Partner with digital marketing to optimize content for search visibility, UX, and conversion.
Measure & Optimize — Define KPIs, track performance, and use insights to refine strategy and execution over time.
What You Bring4–6+ years in content strategy, content marketing, or editorial roles (B2B tech or cybersecurity strongly preferred).
Portfolio showcasing thought leadership, demand gen, and technical storytelling.
Deep understanding of cybersecurity topics, trends, and buyer personas.
Experience creating content for both technical and executive audiences.
Proficiency with CMS platforms, SEO best practices, and analytics tools (e.g., Marketo, SEMrush, Google Analytics).
Exceptional writing, editing, project management, and collaboration skills.
Comfort operating independently in a fast-paced, high-growth startup.
Compensation Range: $150,000 – $180,000 annually
