As a Content Strategist, you will create educational and product content journeys that help guide clients/prospects through investing, trading, and wealth management decisions. This involves developing high-quality content that educates, informs, and engages our clients, and aligns with the company’s mission to empower clients.
Overview of Role:
Develop and execute content strategies that drive engagement and support educational and product goals, ensuring that content is actionable for clientsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and subject matter experts, to create comprehensive content journeys that guide clients/prospects through investment and financial planning processesConduct audience research to understand client needs, preferences, and pain points, and use insights to tailor content that resonates with different segments of Charles Schwab’s client baseProduce high-quality, original content that teaches clients/prospects about investing, banking, and wealth managementOptimize content for various platforms, including the Charles Schwab website, mobile app, and paid channels, to enhance user engagement and accessibilityAnalyze content performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize content strategies and delivery methods.Stay up-to-date with the latest content marketing trends and best practices, and stay current with regulatory changes and financial education to ensure content accuracy and complianceDevelop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely delivery of educational and product-related content, aligning with key business initiatives and market eventsWork closely with the marketing and communications teams to integrate content strategies with broader marketing campaigns and client communication effortsFacilitate the review and approval process for all content, ensuring it meets Charles Schwab’s standards for quality, accuracy, and regulatory complianceWhat you haveRequired Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of content strategy experienceBachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related fieldPreferred Qualifications:Strong understanding of digital content creation and distribution platformsProven ability to develop and execute content plans that align with business objectivesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and engagementExperience in creating educational content that simplifies complex financial conceptsAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and designStrong analytical skills to measure and report on content performanceFinancial services industry experience.Passion for financial literacy and a commitment to helping clients achieve their investment goals
