Location : France, Aimargues (proche Montpellier)

The  Content Manager operates within a cross-functional regional team integrated into the BAPOX Regional Hub Center of Expertise, dedicated to France. In collaboration with this Hub and the French subsidiary, they define and implement the brand communication plan for Royal Canin France, in alignment with global and European roadmaps. They ensure an in-depth understanding of the market is reflected in this brand communication plan. 

This role aims to deliver a compelling and consistent brand experience across all digital channels, including the .com site, D2C platforms, and e-commerce platforms. The  Content Manager serves as the convergence point between market needs, global resources, and regional content production, with the objective of delivering impactful, localized, relevant, and high-performing content.

What are we looking for?

Higher education background. 

Previous experience in marketing/brand management or content marketing. 

Fluent in English. Proficient in French. 

Strong experience in using and/or optimizing content strategy to meet brand and business needs — including applying it across various creative touchpoints, and working with agencies, brand teams, communication teams, and digital platforms. 

Proven experience in influencing cross-functional teams indirectly. 

Solid background in project management, with the ability to lead multiple complex projects that have both short- and long-term impact. 

Confirmed experience in local and regional or global roles. 

 

What will be your key responsibilities?

Guardian of Proper Brand Execution: Protecting the Brand 

Shares and ensures compliance with brand guidelines across all locally deployed content. 

Acts as the liaison with Legal, as well as European and Global teams, to address all brand-related matters (e.g., brand registration, trademark filing, French brand specifics, etc.). 

Definition and Coordination of Content Strategy 

Serves as the local ambassador of the content strategy defined at the global and regional levels. 

Defines content needs for the cluster’s digital touchpoints (.com, D2C, e-commerce), in alignment with the global/EU framework dedicated to Pet Owners. 

Translates the global/European roadmap into a content strategy for France, with clear objectives (KPIs) and a delivery calendar tailored to market needs. 

 

Collaboration and Governance to Ensure Brand Synergy and Consistency 

Work closely with local, regional, and global teams to define, design, and produce content. 

Act as the liaison between markets and global teams, ensuring the communication and prioritization of content needs. 

Manage budget and resources effectively. 

Content Production, Adaptation, and Distribution to Protect and Promote the Brand 

Provide channel-specific content to marketing teams to implement the communication plan defined with internal stakeholders (media, in-store activation, CRM, digital, public relations, etc.). 

Evaluation and Optimization 

Gather and assess content needs based on the sales and marketing plans of different markets. 

Identify content gaps between local needs and global assets; escalate priority requests to the Content Studio. 

Measure content performance, analyze its impact (SEO, conversion, education, engagement, etc.), and propose corrective actions. 

Evaluate the quality and impact of distributed content to ensure continuous optimization.
