Content Development Coordinator, Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment

As the Content Development Coordinator for Disney's Animals, Science and Environment team, you will support the creation of animal, conservation and environmental content and collaborate with partners to execute promotional and synergy efforts across The Walt Disney Company segments. You will foster, build and maintain relationships with Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment (ASE) key partners and should be able to thrive in an ever evolving work environment.
In this role, you will report to the Content Development Manager.
**You Will/Responsibilities:**
+ Develop internal and external written and visual content that clearly shares Disney’s animal, conservation and nature stories, including technical content, throughout multiple business segments.
+ Ability to proactively pinpoint errors in content and official nomenclature in documents with proven attention to detail.
+ Work autonomously within established procedures and practices while identifying improvements and/or solutions to existing processes to improve efficiency.
+ Ability to multi-task and make independent decisions in a rapidly changing work environment effectively balancing and prioritizing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
+ Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, including a proficiency in clear, concise, and compelling oral and written communications.
+ Possess a vast knowledge of our business practices, along with networking and influencing skills.
+ Demonstrate subject matter expertise in a variety of work processes gained through a combination of job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Two years or more of experience in marketing, communication or related role.
+ Proven ability to develop engaging, accurate and concise visual and written content.
+ Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal direction and drive optimal results.
+ Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Teams and Sharepoint.
+ Multi-task in a rapidly changing work environment effectively balancing and prioritizing multiple projects with competing deadlines
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Disney cross Line of Business experience such as Theme Parks, Retail, Consumer Products, Communications, Digital, or Corporate.
+ Working knowledge of WordPress web-editing software – including creating new webpages, editing existing pages and adding text, video and image files.
+ Computer proficiency in Apple products and software (i.e. Pages, Keynote, Numbers).
+ Two years or more of experience or proficient in utilizing computer design programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
**Required Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, communication, public relations, primary or secondary science, environmental education/ interpretation/science, psychology, zoology, biology or related field.
