Content Developer

The Media Developer Co-op Student is responsible for implementing product development strategy and managing media products and services. Working collaboratively with senior support and managers, the Media Developer Co-op Student is accountable for coordinating the production, testing, and updating of media products and components.
**Responsibilities**
+ Collaborate with and take direction from stakeholders on product development, design, and production; could work on part or whole of media program
+ Participate in and contribute to Pearson AI initiatives
+ Provide technical support
+ Coordinate testing of products, creating test cases, quality assurance/quality control plans, documentation, training plans for customer support
+ Coordinate the production of media products, services, and conversion of legacy content to meet customer needs
+ Develop user support documents
+ Keep current on technologies, learning management systems, and enterprise-wide platforms
**Qualifications**
Related work experience
+ General AI knowledge
+ Proficiency in working with generative AI
+ Demonstrated courseware/web/application development experience
+ Hands-on experience or significant knowledge of coding and programming with HTML5, JavaScript, Python, XML, AJAX, JQuery, JSON, CSS
+ Proficient with relational databases
+ Familiar with learning technologies such as SCORM, LTI / QTI, APIs
+ Experience with Agile development and project management
+ Hands-on experience with or knowledge of ePub 3 standards a plus
+ Knowledge of audio/video compression software & general video production techniques is a plus
+ Experience with interface design, UX, and/or instructional design a plus
+ Experience with front-end frameworks such as AngularJS, EmberJS, Flux/ReactJS a plus
+ Experience with enterprise server-side technologies such as J2EE and .Net a plus
**Formal Education or Equivalent**
Currently pursuing Degree or Diploma in web technologies, software development, AI, or a related field

+ Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
+ Ability to learn new software programs quickly
+ Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Knowledge of responsive design and accessibility best practices
+ Knowledge of Web Analytics and Data Analysis
+ Build and coordinate productive, cooperative relationships with course production counterparts
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
+ Forward-thinking, creative, flexible, with a desire to learn and grow oneself and others
