HOW A CONTENT CURATOR (FARSI) WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Requires native-level fluency in Farsi and excellent English.

Knowledge of the region and regional issues is required.

Must be proficient in the nuances of required languages including grammar and journalism editing standards.

Researches local and regional media to identify coverage angles and screen content nominations, providing translations, assisting in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, and technical tasks associated with internet-based publications.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor's Degree required; experience may be substituted in lieu of degree

Experience: 5+ years' experience required Journalism experience, including experience writing or editing for internet-based or print news publications is highly preferred.

Security clearance level: Active DoD Secret clearance required (minimum); accepted candidates will be submitted for TS/SCI.

Skills and abilities: Ability to work nonstandard hours and in on-call status for periods of time may be required. Select candidates will be language tested.
