Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Warren – GM Global Technical Center three times per week, at minimum or other frequency dictated by the business
In this role, the employee will coordinate the activities required to ensure the delivery/reallocation of containers to support the business transfer and /or logistical changes taking place on current programs. The role supports vehicle, propulsion and stamping operations. This is a key cross-functional assignment requiring interface with the following groups: Plants, Suppliers, Program Teams, Purchasing, Logistics, and Tactical Operations.
Responsibilities:
Learn the (Business Transfer Approval Board) BTAB process as well as all systems necessary for job function
Provide support and attend all BTAB meetings. Provide container assessments as well as purchase required containers for BTAB in a timely manner.
Assist in reallocating GM containers for BTAB when additional containers are not required.
Provide updated tracking sheet of BTAB's to date.
Learn the (Enterprise Cost Council) ECC process as well as all systems necessary for job function.
Acquire quotes and provide purchase orders in a timely manner.
Provide updated tracking sheet of all ECC projects assigned. Analyze approved business cases for any cost deficiencies that would prevent the completion of projects.
Aid in coordinated container counts when necessary related to BTAB. Provide container support to vehicle, propulsion, and stamping plants related to BTAB when necessary.

Additional Job DescriptionRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, related field, or equivalent work experience
2+ years relevant post-graduate work experience in purchasing, supply chain, program/product management, manufacturing, Packaging, logistics or product development
Ability to work through Roadblocks
High analytical capability where problems can be ambiguous/complex.
High level of oral and written communication skills.
High level of interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environments/situations.
Continuously making improvements to current standardized work/procedures.
Detail oriented.
Energetic and passionate about overcoming container challenges in Supply Chain.
Able to work with minimal direction.
Able to make timely decisions when faced with incomplete information or under tight deadlines and pressure.
Preferred:
Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related advanced degree a plus
