The Consumer/Small Business Loan Ops Client Specialist I - is responsible for providing excellent customer service to Consumer and Small Business clients including internal and external customers, assisting with their requests, questions, and concerns. This includes processing service requests, posting payments, quoting payoffs, account updates, resolving or escalating complaints, and providing accurate information.


Key Responsibilities:
·Answer incoming calls; communicate directly and build strong business relationships with clients, as well as internal and external service providers.
·Return phone calls in a timely manner and provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients.
·Responsible for responding promptly to requests submitted electronically or via US mail.
·Effectively communicate and coordinate with internal departments to resolve matters and/or find solutions.
·Professional attitude concerning client’s confidential information.

Competencies Required:
·Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint) and ability to navigate financial software applications (Mozart, Bancline).
·Willingness to assist clients in a positive manner.
·Effective listening and clear communications skills, both written and verbal.
·Excellent organizational and data entry skills, ability to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines.
·Demonstrate strong attention to detail, multi-task with ability to follow-up until tasks are complete.
· Demonstrated ability to maintain composure, use positive language, have patience, and convey a positive attitude while interacting with clients and internal team members.
·Customer service orientation with effective problem-solving abilities.

·2 years of customer service experience in the banking or financial services industry required. Branch experience preferred.


Formal Education & Certification:
·High school diploma or equivalent.


Work Status:
·Full-Time.

·0% - Negligible amount of travel expected.


Working Conditions:
·Professional environment with extensive use of telephone and personal computer. Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, folders, etc.
