**About this role:**
Wells Fargo is seeking a Growth Marketing Media Director to oversee a team responsible for developing, leading, and managing all paid media strategies for Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB).
This is a new role within the CSBB Growth Marketing organization, responsible for driving new customers and balance growth profitably via effectively leading a team of media strategists, channel, and optimization experts. This role is critical in helping CSBB deliver on new-customer growth and deposit growth targets via effective development and implementation of media strategies across all key customer segments.
This is a very high-visibility role that provides strategic oversight and guidance across all CSBB media activities, partners across the bank to coordinate media efforts and regularly interfaces with C-suite leadership across the Firm. Additionally, this role is responsible for the relationship management of our agency of record and other key vendors including the development and implementation of new pilot and innovations particularly related to AI/Gen AI. Must be a strong leader who can manage a direct team and influence cross-functional teams. This includes working with both internal colleagues and external partners, while also collaborating effectively with marketing leaders across CSBB and other lines of business.

**In this role, you will:**
+ Lead a team responsible for all buying, planning and optimization across all paid media, content marketing and organic media strategies designed to acquire/drive growth across all retail consumer and small business customer segments
+ Deliver annual production goals allocated for paid media and content strategies
+ Provide leadership, mentorship, and development to a team of media planners, strategists, and channel optimization experts
+ Launch new pilots and innovations in partnership with key media relationships, including Google, Omnicom, etc.
+ Review analytical results to make business decisions to drive new customers and balance growth via effective media strategies
+ Partner across CSBB Marketing and other line-of-business marketing leaders to ensure media strategies are congruent and meet firm-wide business objectives
+ Provide ongoing performance updates related to CSBB Media strategies to CSBB CMO and other C-suite level executives
+ Manage allocation of people and financial resources for paid media including vendor relationships / scopes of work; additionally, manage all paid media vendor relationships
+ Develop a roadmap to drive innovative solutions to paid and organic media strategies, with a particular focus on AI/Gen AI technologies
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 8+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms, or Social Media experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
+ 4+ years of management or leadership experience
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ 8+ years' experience in leading media strategies, particularly in video, radio and digital channels
+ Strong analytical understanding and business acumen
+ Ability to attract, retain and develop top diverse talent
+ Skilled at delivering clear, compelling presentations to senior executives and C-suite leaders
+ Highly collaborative and can effectively lead a cross-functional team including both internal and external (agency) partners
+ Extensive experience navigating a highly matrixed environment
+ Experience thriving in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment
+ Deep experience reviewing and understanding analytical results to make business decisions to drive new customers and balance growth via effective media strategies
+ Experience developing roadmaps that drive innovative solutions to paid and organic media strategies, with a particular focus on AI/Gen AI technologies
**Job Expectations:**
+ Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
+ This position offers a hybrid work schedule

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$159,000.00 - $305,000.00
