The Consumer Insights, Measurement, and Analytics (CIMA) organization informs strategy development through relevant data analytics, integration and insights. We provide consumer centric solutions through deep understanding of all relevant audiences.
You will reside within the Disney Signature Experiences (DSE) Consumer Insight Team, focusing on Disney Vacation Club and Aulani. This team conducts research to help these businesses maximize the guest/member/traveler experience to build long-term consumer loyalty and sustainable profitability. It also identifies demand drivers and revenue opportunities and explores consumer needs to inform long-term strategies.
You will report to the Manager, Consumer Insight.
Analyze data and draw conclusions – Create fact-based insights, test hypotheses, and draw objective and clear conclusions
Exercise leadership – Lead consumer insight projects with personal accountability. Manage all phases of the research process including needs identification, methodology design, survey design, cross-functional management, data analysis, and presentation of results
Exhibit curiosity – Show eagerness to understand what’s happening on property at DVC resorts, how broader economic trends are evolving, and how it all connects to DSE’s larger strategic goals
Team up with partners - Develop and further relationships with internal partners to build influence, manage external vendors, and lead specific work-streams and deliverables
Tell Stories – Communicate findings in an easily understandable way
Basic QualificationsMinimum 3 years relevant experience in a related field of research (e.g. marketing/sales, market research, customer experience)
Experience in project management
Proven experience in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to handle confidential information
Demonstrated problem solving skills, as well as continuous improvement process skills
Experience in quantitative and qualitative research design, analysis, and interpretation
Experience in data analytics, including management and manipulation of large data sets through statistical software (e.g., SPSS, r)
Comfortable sharing a point of view and advocating for consumers
Strong attention to detail—able to spot nuances, ensure accuracy, and deliver high-quality insights that support confident decision-making
Demonstrated initiative – anticipating needs and identifying opportunities to provide value to partners
Required EducationBachelor's degree or equivalent experience – relevant areas include, but are not limited to Behavioral Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Cultural Anthropology, Business Economics, Cognitive Science, Marketing, Market Research
