Consumer Insights, Measurement, & Analytics is a Global Marketing & Sales organization within Disney Experiences that drives consumer centric decision-making through a deep understanding of the marketplace, consumers and our Guests. In a rapidly changing consumer and market environment, with ever increasing touch points and data, the emphasis is on cutting through the noise to provide actionable insight – clear, objective, strategic, holistic, timely, and relevant. The optimal candidate will be a solutions-oriented, optimistic leader with proven success integrating research and business performance analysis to positively influence decisions.

We are seeking an inspiring and collaborative leader to serve as Consumer Insight Manager to support the Walt Disney World business. The Consumer Insight Manager will be responsible for developing, executing, synthesizing, and leveraging research, analytics, and other internal and external sources of insight to shape Marketing Strategies that drive the business.  This position partners closely with Marketing and Sales Strategy, Customer Engagement and Creative Teams and will be primarily focused on advancing a deep understanding of various consumer audiences including behaviors, motivators, attitudes, and barriers to develop recommendations.  This position also supports marketing campaign development, creative testing, and informing marketing activations and tactics for the Walt Disney World Resort.
 

This role reports to the Senior Manager-Consumer Insight.


Responsibilities:

Independently manage all phases of the market research process supporting creative testing and marketing strategies including needs identification, project design, execution, analysis, and presentation of results

Establish credibility as a partner who can translate insight into actionable, business-driving strategies

Foster relationships with external and internal partners, building influence

Create and present succinct, compelling communications that influence senior leadership

Identify and implement innovative solutions

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum five years relevant experience in a related field (e.g. marketing/sales, market research, business analytics, strategic planning, etc.)

Exceptional project management skills

Experience in data analytics

Experience evaluating and understanding consumer decision making and business implications

Experience in quantitative, qualitative research and statistical techniques

Expertise in use of Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and PowerPoint

Strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity while keeping business goals in mind

Experience in SPSS data statistical software

Comfortable adapting to change and works effectively with ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience supporting creative assessment, guest experience measurement, pricing studies, product innovation, forecasting consumer behavior, or similar studies

Experience with SPSS and Tableau

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
