Consulting Trainee

Location: Hybrid (3x week in-person) – Our offices: Sao Paulo-SP / Rio de Janeiro-RJ / Belo Horizonte-MG / Curitiba-PR / Porto Alegre-RS 

Position Overview:
 

As a People & Management Consulting Trainee at Mercer, you will embark on a comprehensive development program designed to build your expertise in business, management and people advisory services. You will work closely with experienced consultants to deliver innovative solutions that help clients enhance their organizational performance and talent management strategies. 

Key Responsibilities:   

Support senior consultants in conducting research, data analysis, and client assessments.   Assist in developing and delivering client presentations, reports, and proposals.   Participate in project planning and execution related to talent management, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness.   Gain exposure to Mercer’s consulting methodologies and tools.   Contribute to the development of thought leadership and best practices in people management.   Engage in training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programs to develop consulting skills and industry knowledge. 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree (conclusion 2023, 2024 and 2025) in business administration, engineering, economics, finance, physics, mathematics, or related fields.   Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.   Presentation design & storytelling: ability to structure compelling narratives and build visually engaging presentations using tools like PowerPoint, ensuring clarity, executive-level aesthetics, and alignment with the message being conveyed. Basic knowledge of data ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data visualization using tools like Excel, KNIME, Power BI, Qlik, or equivalent Data storytelling: ability to interpret, synthesize, and communicate complex information through clear visualizations and structured narratives, enabling effective decision-making across both technical and non-technical audiences Demonstrated interest in management consulting, organizational development, Human capital, Digital Transformation, business strategy.   Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.   Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow professionally.

Ethical Judgment: Maintaining integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in all interactions.
