We are looking for a Consulting Project Manager with a strong background in Integrated Resource Planning and Electricity Wholesale Market assessments. You will lead consulting projects, product development, innovation initiatives and business development in these technical areas, as part of the Energy Business Advisory unit of Siemens Power Technologies International (PTI). The team delivers services to large power consumers, utilities, developers, financiers, and government. Services range from transaction advisory to technology deployment roadmaps.
This is a remote position located in the contiguous U.S.
You’ll make an impact as you:
Lead consulting projects in Integrated Resource Planning, Integrated System Planning, Power Wholesale Market Outlooks, Power Generation and Storage Asset Assessments, and related areas. Lead product development and innovation efforts. Contribute materially to business development efforts. Liaise with clients to promote relationship building and strengthening. Keep abreast of market trends and contribute to internal knowledge building. Mentor, train and develop other consultants. Employ strong communication with engaging presentation and writing skills in English.Your team will deliver consulting services within the Energy Business Advisory Team of Siemens PTI. Besides the services listed above, this unit also provides services like transaction advisory, technology deployment roadmaps, risk management for power trading, and related areas. You will have the opportunity to contribute to these other workstreams when additional resources are needed. Our clients include large power consumers, utilities, developers, financiers, and government. Services range from transaction advisory to technology deployment roadmaps.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Bachelor's or more advanced degree in engineering, economics, finance, statistics, management, or other analytical- or business-oriented disciplines. At least 8 years of experience in providing consulting or other type of analytical support to energy or power industry players (utilities, asset operators, project developers, consumers, financiers, etc.). At least 5 years of experience in project management in consulting or related areas. Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% of the time as needed. Ability to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.Preferred qualifications:
Experience with provision of some of the following services: electricity wholesale power outlooks, integrated resource planning, integrated system planning, generation and storage asset assessment. Experience with production pricing and capacity expansion software, notably Aurora.You’ll benefit from:

The pay range for this position is $100,450 - $206,640 annually with a target incentive of 10-15% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
