Apply Today! **Job Summary and Qualifications** Position Summary The Consulting IT Architect will provide technical direction to ITG Systems staff. Works closely with other HCA ITG Architects and Engineers to ensure enterprise technical standards are maintained. Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains those programs. Competent to work on all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities. Provides guidance to other staff members through all phases of project. Education & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required • Master's degree in computer science or related field preferred • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Behaviors: • A successful candidate will have: • Requires a knowledge of advanced technology, systems design and an overall understanding of advanced technology, systems design and an overall understanding of hardware technology, the development process and system design • Must have a sound understanding of the Erlang VM, Elixir, Phoenix LiveView, HTML/CSS, SQL and NoSQL Database and UNIX operating system • Knowledge of healthcare integration standards such as HL7 and FHIR • Knowledge of queuing engines such as Apache Kafka, IBM MQ, RabbitMQ • Requires 10 years of related work experience, extensive professional systems and programming background • Good communication and negotiation skills in order to interact with site peers, local management and executives on technical issues on project planning. • Has made extensive use of improved programming analysis technology PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS • Prolonged sitting or standing at computer workstation including use of mouse, keyboard, and monitor. • Requires ability to provide after-hours support.
