Job Overview
This individual should have a practical and in depth understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (related to accounting entries, books of accounts), Indian regulatory framework and compliance (RBI), SEBI, company secretarial matters and direct and indirect tax.
Your key responsibilities
Technical Excellence
As a consultant, you will be a key resource on client engagement.
Have a PoV and general understanding of financial operations and direct financial planning and structure for family offices. Executing compliances, including Indian Accounting Standards (related to accounting entries), tax and regulatory compliances, company secretarial related compliances and matters related to regulatory compliances. Understand and wok on MIS reporting systems, budgets, forecasts. Coordinate with external auditors, relevant consulting teams and regulatory bodies to advise on compliance with all financial and legal requirements of the Family Office clients.
Skills and Attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have
Qualified Chartered Accountant (preferred), or a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience
1–3 years of experience in the finance team of an Indian promoter-led organisation or handling family office matters, preferably for Indian promoters. Working knowledge of Tally, other financial software, and MS Office Suite.
