Consultant/Senior Consultant | M&A Operations (Delivering Deal Value Team)

Job Description & Summary

The transaction market is becoming increasingly complex - buyers and sellers need to quickly and efficiently understand the main business drivers and key areas of opportunity to unlock deal value. In response, we are growing our team to offer new transaction-related services to clients.
The Delivering Deal Value Team works closely with other PwC teams, including Strategy, Financial Due Diligence, Regulatory, Legal, and Tax. Together with these specialists, the team provides clients with insights and advice throughout the M&A process.

We are looking for: 

Consultant/Senior Consultant 

Your future role: Leading smaller workstreams in large projects or supporting bigger workstreams, including preparing key operational analyses and deliverables,Participating in projects such as: Carve-out and business separation support - standalone state analysis, planning of transitional services and supporting clients in executing separation; Post-merger integration - planning and implementing integration programs, identifying synergies and assessing plans for capturing them; Operational due diligence - assessing operating models, risks and opportunities for efficiency improvement; Post-acquisition performance improvement - implementing Rapid Value Creation methodology, identifying cost-saving and growth opportunities,Performing analysis and developing hypotheses together with more experienced team members,Building relationships with client team members,Contributing to proposals and discussion documents,Developing internal relationships within PwC Poland and the DDV team.

Apply if you have: Experience working on operational and/or financial aspects of M&A-related projects, such as managing and delivering operational change initiatives, merger integrations, synergy analysis, carve-out planning, or financial and operational due diligence,Strong financial analysis skills and a good understanding of key financial information drivers,The ability to quickly interpret large volumes of information and extract hypotheses and key insights,Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to produce clear and high-quality written reports,The ability to work independently and deliver under tight deadlines,Fluency in Polish and English.
