Requirement Gathering: Engage with clients to analyze, gather, and document financial requirements and current business processes.
System Configuration: Configure D365 F&O financial modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, etc.) to align with client needs.
Implementation: Drive end-to-end implementation activities including design, development coordination, UAT, cutover, and go-live.
Testing: Develop test plans, conduct unit and user acceptance testing (UAT), and resolve identified issues.
Training & Support: Conduct training sessions for end-users and provide post-go-live support.
Documentation: Create detailed functional documentation, solution blueprints, configuration guides, and user manuals.
Process Optimization: Recommend and implement financial process improvements and automation using D365 capabilities.
Client Interaction: Work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:D365 F&O Expertise: Hands-on experience with financial modules such as GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, and Cash & Bank Management.
Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of core finance and accounting principles.
Functional Consulting: At least 2 full-cycle implementations in D365 F&O or AX in a Finance Functional Consultant role.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Documentation: Proficiency in preparing FRDs, test scripts, training documents, and process flows.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience working with both business and technical teams.
Good-to-Have Skills:Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate.
Project Management: Exposure to Agile/Waterfall methodologies and familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps.
ERP Exposure: Experience with other ERP platforms or legacy finance systems.
Consulting Experience: Prior experience in a client-facing consulting role.
Industry Knowledge: Exposure to finance processes in manufacturing, retail, services, or similar domains.
