This role serves as the bridge between OEM engineering teams and aerospace system suppliers, helping to identify, track, and resolve complex technical and program-level issues related to fuel supply systems and vendor performance. The ideal candidate will bring strong familiarity with large aerospace supplier ecosystems, particularly in fluid and fuel systems, and demonstrate the ability to navigate internal systems, accelerate issue resolution, and drive alignment between engineering, supply chain, and customer-facing functions. Key Responsibilities: Technical Integration & Engineering Support * Serve as the technical point of contact for fuel supply system-related issues across program teams * Identify and communicate interface or design challenges to support timely resolution * Translate engineering concerns between OEM and supplier teams to maintain alignment Program Management & Issue Tracking * Track open technical actions, supplier performance issues, and integration roadblocks * Coordinate with internal engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure visibility and accountability * Provide clear status reporting and escalation support for unresolved issues Cross-Functional Supplier Interface * Support vendor-related investigations and root cause tracking * Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot delivery or technical gaps * Navigate internal tools, systems, and communication workflows to ensure progress and issue closure Required Qualifications: * 8+ years of experience in aerospace technical program management, supplier engineering, or systems integration * Familiarity with fuel supply systems, fluid systems, or complex mechanical integration projects * Proven experience working across engineering, supply chain, and customer-facing teams * Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a multi-stakeholder environment * Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and track multiple technical issues simultaneously * Availability to support onsite activities in Hauppauge, NY Preferred Qualifications: * Prior experience working within or alongside large aerospace suppliers or OEMs * Working knowledge of supply chain workflows, vendor performance metrics, and integration milestones * Familiarity with fuel or fluid systems engineering in aerospace applications Why Join This Project* ✔ Embedded Role - Serve as a trusted liaison between supplier and OEM technical teams ✔ Critical Program Impact - Directly support issue resolution in high-visibility fuel system programs ✔ Competitive Contract Pay - Aligned to experience and role complexity ✔ Contract Flexibility - 1099 or LLC structure preferred Belcan is an equal opportunity employer.
