This role sits within the Enabling Circle of COO Finance (COOF) — a strategic area focused on operational excellence, people development, and transformation across ING’s global services. You will play a key role in driving the People and Communication strategy through Knowledge Management, engagement, and learning enablement.

Key ResponsibilitiesKnowledge Management & Enablement

- Design and deliver engaging Knowledge Management training sessions (virtual and in-person).

- Curate, review, and maintain high-quality documentation and knowledge assets.

- Develop and implement knowledge retention strategies for critical processes.

HR & People Strategy Support

- Align Knowledge Management initiatives with HR learning journeys, development plans, and People Strategy.

- Support documentation and knowledge sharing for HR processes (onboarding, performance management, talent development, financials).

- Collaborate with HR and People Enablement teams to ensure Knowledge Management practices support employee growth, engagement, and compliance.

Driving the People & Communication Agenda

- Contribute to the execution of the People and Communication strategy within COOF.

- Support initiatives that foster employee engagement, internal communication, and a knowledge-sharing culture.

Strategic & Operational Delivery

- Drive Knowledge Management initiatives aligned with departmental goals and ING’s People Vision.

- Organize and manage Knowledge Management projects, timelines, and deliverables.

- Monitor Knowledge Management effectiveness using metrics and feedback, and continuously improve processes.

- Engage stakeholders across departments to promote Knowledge Management adoption and collaboration.

Key Capabilities & Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Organizational Development, Communication, or Education.

- Strong understanding of Knowledge Management principles (e.g., SECI model, Nonaka-Takeuchi).

- Familiarity with information architecture, taxonomy, metadata, and content structuring.

- Proficiency in Knowledge Management tools (SharePoint, Confluence, M-Files, or similar).

- Experience supporting HR-related processes, including learning journeys and employee lifecycle documentation.

- Knowledge of change management and guiding teams through Knowledge Management-related transitions.

- Alignment with HR policies on data privacy, access control, and compliance.

- High learning agility, proactive mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and automation.

- Ability to challenge assumptions, analyze problems pragmatically, and offer convincing recommendations.
