Could it be you? **About the role** As an Advisory Business Consultant – RCM, you will make an impact by advising clients on optimizing their healthcare revenue cycle management operations. You will be a valued member of the Mexico Consulting team and work collaboratively with the Practice Lead, other stakeholders, and clients. **In this role, you will:** · Lead and deliver consulting engagements focused on healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) for clients in Mexico. · Analyze client processes and technologies to identify opportunities for improvement in RCM operations, including policy, technology, and performance measurement. · Advise and support clients in implementing best practices across the full RCM lifecycle, including: · • Patient Scheduling and Registration · • Insurance Verification and Pre-authorization · • Patient Encounter and Clinical Documentation · • Medical Coding · • Claims Submission Process · • Payment Posting and Verification · • Medical Claims Denial Management · Guide clients in provider account management, provider contracting, preauthorization, eligibility verification, and benefits administration. · Oversee billing, coding, claim generation, and integration with clearinghouses. · Support payment agreements, accounts receivable/payable, and proactive denial management. · Deliver statistical reporting, audit procedures, and performance measurement. · Advise on trends impacting charges, coding, collections, and accounts receivable. · Facilitate project meetings and ensure timely, accurate project status reporting. **Work model** This is a full-time, onsite position based in Mexico. Working arrangements may change based on project and business requirements. Cognizant supports a healthy work-life balance through various wellbeing programs. **What you must have to be considered** · Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; MBA in finance preferred. · 5+ years of experience in RCM consulting or healthcare revenue cycle operations. · Proven expertise in patient scheduling, insurance verification, clinical documentation, medical coding, claims submission, payment posting, and denial management. · Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. · Demonstrated leadership presence and ability to facilitate project meetings. · Experience with Cerner Sorian or similar healthcare technology platforms preferred. · Expertise in financial modeling and statistical reporting. **These will help you succeed** · Experience with US healthcare RCM processes and ambulatory procedures for dialysis patients. · Ability to balance efficient billing practices with strategic financial planning. · Innovative mindset with a track record of process and technology improvement. · Commitment to representing project status accurately and driving results.
