Job Description
Cyber Professional Services is part of Rockwell Automation's lifecycle services business, dedicated to delivering technical services, including system startup and troubleshooting across various applications and infrastructures. Our focus areas include Networking, Virtualization, and Cybersecurity within Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
In this role, you will be responsible for tasks related to network design, implementation, troubleshooting, virtualization, and cybersecurity. Your expertise in these technologies will play a key role in enabling a Connected Enterprise by integrating the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) into our customers' facilities.
Collaborating with our team of Project Managers and Consultants, you will contribute to achieving established goals, executing work plans, and carrying out development tasks for specific solutions within assigned projects.
Your Responsibilities:
You will design and implement important global customers' converged business and manufacturing/industrial networks and user needs in parallel with their overall business strategies.You will write detailed documentation that could include customer requirements, system specifications, observed issues with remediation recommendations, or implementation plans to develop manufacturing infrastructure.You will design and implement OT network infrastructure and associated configuration changes, virtualization, and cybersecurity.You will design secure manufacturing architectures and provide vision and problem anticipation to customers.The Essentials - You Will Have:
Knowlege in Industrial control system such us PLC, RTU, SCADA, DCS, HMI, etcKnowledge of staging or deployment support in the following areas: Network Infrastructure (switches, routers), Virtualized Infrastructure (VMWare ESXi, Nutanix), Cybersecurity (IDS, Pent Test, Ethical Hacking, Firewalls and iDMZ concepts)1+ years of experience with drawing and documentation software, such as Microsoft Visio®, with the ability to read network architecture diagramsReview and write detailed documentation that may include customer requirements, system/network infrastructure specifications, observed issues, and remediation recommendationsFollow all company safety procedures and guidelines to protect yourself and othersExperience in programming languages such as Python, Javascript, etcKnowledge of common system exploits, network attacks, phishing techniques and malware.
