What Clinical Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Clinical Operations is responsible for providing clinical specialties support and expertise in the areas of advice and consulting, research and patient care to internal business units and external customers.

Clinical Operations is responsible for supporting the timely and quality sale, installation and monitoring of Cardinal Health products and services; may also provide product and service education to facilitate technology adoption and workflow change management.

Responsibilities

Acts as Clinical Cross-Referencing Business partner & provides consultative clinical product expertise to Cardinal Health Business UnitsActs as subject matter expert for specific product categories identifying key product attributes that drive product alternativesLead collaboration with Product Marketing organization regarding product classification, categorization, research, and analyticsIncrease clinical relevance and customer acceptability of recommended product substitutions and alternativesTranslate product logic and insights derived from clinical and sales and marketing expertise to partner data management teamReview system generated product descriptions, attributes and categorization and resolve issues in alignment with product ownersSupports as a Clinical Business Partner working directly with specific customer groups, as needed

Qualifications

Min 4+ years of experience preferredBachelors degree related field preferredClinical or Healthcare background within acute patient care settings including broad range of direct medical product experience would be highly preferredProficient in Excel & PowerPoint, ability to manipulate and work within large datasetsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to travel to CAH office for team meetings a few times a year

Anticipated salary range: $80,900 - $100,000

**The salary range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
