Summary:
The job involves working for Northern Trust Omnium Fund Services (OMN), a Global fund administrator, and is responsible for onboarding clients to the platform. The successful candidate will be an ambitious self-starter who has demonstrated the ability to function as an effective and strategic member in a dynamic, fast-paced and demanding environment. This individual will have a strong industry and/or project management background and excels at working well with others.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Interact with client, the client’s service providers, OMN IT, and OMN shared services teams to onboard new clients.
Supports multiple implementation projects simultaneously.
Work integrally with international partners to troubleshoot queries and provide feedback related to client implementation.
Provide updates for weekly client meetings, including input for agendas, notes and takeaways.
Support initiation and maintenance of all necessary project tracking documents.
Leverage OMN proprietary tools, financial instruments knowledge, and accounting principles to onboard client’s portfolio into the proprietary OMN platform.
Identify and communicate bespoke client requests and escalates to manager.
Interface with internal and external IT to ensure client setup is completed timely and within the constraints of the internal control framework.
Perform and document completion of internal controls.
Support performing all implementation processes related to daily trade break resolution for financial products and transitioning activities to shared services teams prior to go live.
Perform analysis of financial statements and supporting documents as part of portfolio data validation.
Perform reconciliations to the source data to ensure the accuracy of data loaded into the OMN platform.
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Bloomberg
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with accuracy, and on-time
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Client service focused
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and familiarity with financial markets and instruments is required
Highly flexible and adaptable to change
Education/Experience
2-5 years’ experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
Experience with Investment Management, Financial Services, Hedge Fund or Private Equity Funds, and/or project management preferred

Salary Range:
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
