**What you'll be doing**
As a member of CIBC’s team, the Consultant, Business Effectiveness is primarily responsible for providing Contract Management Support to lines of business across Administration functional group. The successful candidate will monitor all active agreements with Administration LOBs, work with relationship managers (contract owners) to ensure contract data remains up to date and maintain tracking of agreement status and expiry. The Consultant will work as intermediary between Procurement and the relationship manager to facilitate contract execution, renewal, and termination. In support of new agreements between Administration LOBs and third-party suppliers, the Consultant will lead the end-to-end Procurement engagement including Procurement Intake, TPRA (where required) and contract execution involving liaising with third party suppliers and relationship managers to obtain the necessary information and supporting documents required for the Procurement process leading to contract execution.
In addition to this primary responsibility, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Business effectiveness of the Transformation & Operational Excellence team in Administration through a range of activities including business analysis, project co-ordination, relationship management and continuous improvement. The role applies comprehensive skills to assist with work packages and business analysis to drive initiatives that ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the Administration lines of business. The Consultant, Business Effectiveness makes decisions on their own work methods to prepare schedules for work activities, monitoring work progress, responding to changing priorities, adjusting work schedules accordingly and resolving obstacles. The role exercises independent judgement within defined procedures, regularly meeting with the business partners, documenting communications, processes, procedures and changes. The role applies professional, analytical and communication skills to maintain the momentum against a background of changing priorities.

**How you'll succeed**
+ **Contract Management** **Support** **–** Act as intermediary between Procurement and the relationship manager to facilitate contract execution, renewal and termination. Support Administration LOBs by monitoring active agreements with Administration LOBs, working with contract owners to ensure contract data remains up to date and maintain tracking of agreement status and expiry.
+ **Third Party Risk Assessment** **-** Support new agreements between Administration LOBs and third-party suppliers by leading the end-to-end Procurement engagement including Procurement Intake, TPRA (where required) and contract execution involving liaising with third party suppliers and relationship managers to obtain the necessary information and supporting documents required for the Procurement process leading to contract execution.
+ **Business Management -** Support the Transformation & Operational Excellence team, work in a fast-paced environment to effectively execute strategic priorities of varying complexity. Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, to support business, technology and 3rd party engagement, inclusive of executive communications. Identify and implement opportunities for improving the efficiency of processes.
+ **Relationship Management -** Maintain professional relationships with multiple partners and clients through excellent interpersonal skills. Communicate proactively with colleagues to plan and organize work across stakeholders. Liaise with stakeholders to solicit their input into the development of new or enhanced business processes, and to ensure aligned operations and communications.
+ **Reporting -** Track progress and conduct analysis of data and reports. Support in the tracking and communication of performance metrics.
**Who you are**
+ **You have a degree/diploma in** Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field, and you’ve spent at least 3 years in a business management/support role. It’s an asset if you have experience with Contract Management and Third Party Risk Assessment in CIBC.
+ **You have experience** interacting with third party suppliers, legal and various control groups across CIBC (Information Security, Cloud Services, Privacy, Technology, etc).
