What Business Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health

Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.

Business Analysis serves as a liaison between the organization's businesses and IT systems development teams to align business strategies and capability needs and to ensure IT systems enable their desired value. This job family identifies and analyzes business needs, defines requirements and objectives, and makes recommendations for solutions using new and existing technologies. This job family researches and documents relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices) and translates business requirements into application requirements.

Responsibilities

Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholdersIdentify inefficiencies in workflows and recommend data-driven solutionsCreate detailed documentation including business cases, process maps, and functional specsCollaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, QRA, Operations) to implement solutionsDevelop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findingsSupport project management activities including timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder updatesConduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategyValidate implemented solutions and measure impact against KPIs

Qualifications

4-8 years of experience, preferredBachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office products preferredMotivated and independent workerTakes initiative and works independently to set direction, resolve issuesStrong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational skillsStrong oral and written communication skills with internal and external partnersPharma and Supply Chain distribution acumenStrong Sequel experience in database querying - experience with Postgres and OracleExperience with scripting languagesFamiliarity with XML/XSD

Anticipated salary range: $80,900 - $121,275
