Airswift is seeking for CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR (ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENTATION) to work in Qatar OFFSHORE with a major Oil & Gas Company. 

Qualification: Higher National Certificate (HNC), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Diploma in Instrumentation and/or Electrical and/or Mechanical from a recognized university. Extensive commissioning experience in Oil & Gas projects. Strong skills in construction management, effective communication, and conflict resolution.
Experience: 8 to 10 years’ experience in relevant construction and installation activities within Oil & Gas projects. Basic knowledge of telemetry installation and commissioning. Experienced in implementing construction industry best practices, systems, processes, and standards. Understanding of construction techniques for various work types, especially brownfields and Well Head Jackets construction and commissioning. Good skills in construction management, communication, and conflict resolution. Exposure to works by associated disciplines. Experience in Electrical, Telecom, Telemetry, and Telecom disciplines for offshore Oil & Gas projects. Computer literate with good communication and writing skills. Excellent knowledge of industry engineering standards, quality control, safety, and environmental awareness. Strong ability to interpret and review method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), construction schedules, and drawings. Ability to identify potential bottlenecks/problems and propose solutions. Proven ability to supervise a multi-national and multi-cultural contractor workforce.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Act as QP representative onboard QP facilities/contractor marine spread at offshore locations responsible for project-related activities. Communicate and liaise with asset holders for site access and preparation requirements for construction and hot works. Supervise EPIC Contractor during Electrical, Instrumentation, F&G, DCS, ESD, and Telecom construction activities at offshore sites in MM, BH fields, and Halul. Participate in reviewing detailed design drawings, method statements, and material receipt inspections. Supervise, monitor, check, and perform E&I and telecom material receipt inspections per drawings, standards, and specifications. Raise damage and/or missing material reports. Prepare required work permits as Permit Applicant and ensure contractor adherence to QP e-PTW system requirements. Attend daily meetings with asset holders for work planning and progress/constraint reporting. Coordinate offshore logistics with contractor representatives, including movement of personnel and materials per agreed schedules. Review contractor construction plans, schedules, method statements, and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs). Liaise with Contractor, Purchase Order (PO), and station HSEQ personnel to ensure surveillance and construction/installation work align with approved HQSE procedures. Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures and “As For Construction” (AFC) drawings. Verify all construction work is completed per approved standards and contract specifications. Supervise and approve contractor E&I activities, including cable pulling, termination, glanding, loop shooting, Megger testing, cabinet installation, field instrument installation, and testing at contractor yards, production stations, and Halul Island. Perform and witness inspections based on approved ITPs and certify completed works; sign Inspection Test Records and Quality Control forms. Conduct punch list walkthroughs, raise punch items, and coordinate their closure with originators and contractors. Review and approve the Mechanical Completion Certificate (MCC). Maintain daily records of progress with special comments; report anomalies or contractual deviations by contractor personnel to supervisor and recommend corrective actions. Review and submit daily and weekly construction progress reports for assigned projects; verify contractor progress statements for accuracy.
