Summary: Seeking a seasoned General Construction Superintendent to oversee site-based projects across the Northeast, ensuring coordination, execution, and safety compliance.
Minimum of 5 years of direct construction site experience
At least 2 years in a supervisory capacity as a General Foreman, Site Superintendent, or Site-Based Construction Manager
Strong understanding of pre-design and pre-construction phases, building systems and technologies, contract management, project delivery methods
Proven ability to manage complex project schedules
Experience managing industrial manufacturing projects valued between $25 million and $500 million
Working knowledge of commissioning and qualification processes related to MEP systems
Preferred Skills:
Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering
Life Science / Biopharma manufacturing facility construction experience
Knowledge of starting up equipment and systems in manufacturing facilities
Understanding regulatory requirements for biopharma manufacturing process systems
Responsibilities:
Conduct project meetings with contractors and stakeholders
Maintain official project documentation files and logs
Perform onsite inspections and walkdowns; manage field administration tasks
Review submittals, shop drawings, material certifications for project turnover process
Ensure compliance with design specifications and drawings
Support change management and monthly invoicing processes
Track work progression; coordinate daily tasks for accurate reporting
Foster cooperative partnerships among client, contractor, stakeholders
Spend majority time in the field coordinating with team Superintendents and Trade Foremen
Champion proactive safety culture through safety walkdowns
Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
