Job Description

AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Resident Project Representative (RPR) with experience in water and wastewater treatment plant construction oversight to join our dynamic New England Water Business Line.

Your first assignment will be a wastewater treatment plant upgrade in southern New Hampshire, expected to begin in April 2026. This is a great opportunity to work on a high-profile project that enhances environmental sustainability and public health.

As an AECOM Resident Project Representative, you will:

Monitor delivery of equipment and materials for compliance with contract specifications.Observe contractor work for quality and adherence to project requirements.Maintain detailed records of construction progress and installation activities.Prepare and update marked prints for record drawings.Measure and compute monthly and final payments for contractor work.Coordinate testing services, observe on-site testing, and review lab reports.

 

 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field plus 4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationValid U.S. Driver’s License and ability to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.Proficient in Microsoft Office Software.

Preferred Qualifications

6 years of experience in water/wastewater infrastructure construction.10 years of experience overseeing water treatment facility construction.Experience with electrical and instrumentation & control (I&C) equipment replacement.Strong communication and documentation skills.
