Construction Quality Control Manager
Job Title: Construction Quality Control ManagerJob Description We are seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager to oversee and ensure the highest standards of quality on a research and development project focused on training and engineering. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects within a leading general contractor environment. Responsibilities + Ensure compliance with EM 385 regulations and quality standards. + Oversee construction activities and ensure adherence to project specifications. + Manage quality control processes and procedures for industrial construction projects. + Collaborate with project management and construction teams to address quality issues. + Review construction drawings and documents for accuracy and compliance. + Coordinate with trades and subcontractors to maintain quality standards. + Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure quality compliance. + Prepare and present quality control reports to stakeholders. Essential Skills + Must be a US Citizen . + Minimum of 10 years of construction experience. + At least 5 years of experience in industrial construction. + 5 years of experience in a Quality Control Manager or similar role. + Proficiency in construction management and project management. + Knowledge of EM 385 regulations. + Familiarity with Navfac, Usace, and construction drawings. Additional Skills & Qualifications + OSHA 30 certification is preferred. + Experience with QCM processes. + Strong leadership and communication skills. + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Work Environment The project is a $113 million research and development initiative located at the Navy Yard, involving trades from various backgrounds. The position requires onsite work 5 days a week, starting in January and continuing through August 2027. The role offers the potential for contract-to-hire opportunities and the possibility to extend for the duration of the project. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $52.88/hr.
