Construction Project Manager
Job Description The Construction Project Manager will work closely with members of the Project Management, Infrastructure Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Project Controls and Procurement departments from install through start of production. This role will supervise all on-site construction including scheduling of trade contractors, vendor tool installations, resolving day to day construction issues, performing day to day inspections to ensure compliance with plans and specifications while tracking project schedule and budget. Responsibilities · Successfully deliver, design build, and self-performed construction projects · Ensure on time, or ahead of time delivery of construction projects, enabling your teams to solve problems and prioritize execution · Promote a safe and quality driven culture, both project and companywide · Use efficient and aesthetic communication methods to escalate roadblocks or communicate successes as necessary, including the ability to clearly communicate risks · Employ a can-do attitude, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged and aligned to the project’s goals · Track and understand all project costs at a fundamental level, challenging design revision, RFIs and change orders · Demonstrated ability to work with minimal guidance; proactive, motivated self-starter. Skills and Requirements - 5 years of experience minimum, ideally 6-12 working on large commercial or industrial construction projects focused on MEP. - High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project and Bluebeam. - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or construction management or related field. - Proficient with RFI's, documentation, creating meeting agendas and taking meeting minutes. · Master’s degree in engineering, or construction management or related field. · Cost estimation and schedule development & tracking. · Experience coming from Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Refining, Pharmaceuticals, Semiconductors, or equivalent high-tech facilities. · Revit or CAD
