Job Title: Construction Project Manager Job Description We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager responsible for managing permits and overseeing the site construction of all photo enforcement systems in Florida. This role involves conducting site engineering studies and surveys to determine site feasibility for red-light and speed violation camera installations, ensuring compliance with local codes and guidelines. Responsibilities + Conduct site engineering studies and surveys to assist in determining site feasibility for camera installations. + Manage traffic studies, reviewing data for site feasibility, and ensuring timely and efficient report production. + Oversee project utilities process from account application through final connection and inspection, ensuring project timelines are met. + Attend weekly meetings and provide project status reports to managers and staff. + Coordinate and review civil engineering plans with professional engineering firms for submission to municipalities, counties, and FDOT. + Coordinate city, county, and FDOT submittals, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of outstanding issues. + Research and document regulations relevant to new clients or RFP requests related to the installation and operation of photo enforcement cameras. Essential Skills + 2-4 years of experience working on FDOT projects. + Experience with FDOT regulations and codes. + Experience in overseeing utility installation projects, roadway construction, and subcontractor management. + Proficiency in project scheduling, coordination, and change order management. + Knowledge of the permitting process with FDOT. + Daily inspections and maintaining accurate records. + Ability to interpret engineering plans and specifications. + Strong communication and leadership skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Proficiency in managing multiple priorities and making timely decisions. + Experience in electrical construction, wiring, and cabling. Work Environment This position requires working both in the office and onsite from Monday to Friday, with hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sarasota, Florida. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $31.25/hr.
