Construction Project Manager

Kforce is working with a client in Aurora, CO who is in the planning stages of a headquarters redesign project and needs to hire a construction project manager to oversee the design and build process. The Construction Project Manager will coordinate closely with architects, engineers, general contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the project is executed on time, within budget, and to the expected standards of quality and compliance.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary point of contact between the Authority and the architect, general contractor, and other project members
* Monitor construction activities to ensure alignment with approved plans, specifications, timelines, and regulatory requirements
* Facilitate coordination between internal Authority departments and external project stakeholders
* Lead or attend regular project meetings (e.g., design reviews, progress updates, risk assessments)
Manage and track project budget, including labor, materials, and contingency funds
* Review and validate payment applications, invoices, and cost estimates
* Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project integrity
