Job Description
The primary role of the Construction Project Manager is to effectively plan and track activities involved in the Data Center construction, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities
+ Coordinate projects and track detailed plans to achieve goals, directing the integration of technical activities.
+ Serve as an onsite presence for construction and advocate for safety throughout the site.
+ Create site visit reports on a weekly basis.
+ Confer with management, engineering, and operations to discuss project specifications, requirements, and procedures.
+ Conduct weekly construction project progress meetings with representatives from the lessor, construction design, and engineering teams, as well as internal teams.
+ Ensure adherence to weekly, monthly, and quarterly contract requirements by the lessor.
Essential Skills
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
+ In-depth knowledge of construction processes, quality control, and cost management.
+ Familiarity with construction safety to advocate for safety among all personnel on site.
+ Proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Outlook, and Teams.
+ Understanding of risk management, reporting, and tracking.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or 5-7 years of equivalent experience.
+ PMI or PMP certification preferred.
+ OSHA certification preferred.
+ 5-8 years of experience in project management and construction management.
+ Experience in construction within data centers is highly valued.
Work Environment
ONSITE SAN ANTONIO, TX. No relocation assistance offered.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $77.00/hr.
