Construction Project Engineer
Project Engineer Location: Milwaukee, WI Experience Level: Entry to Mid-Level (0–5 years) Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Construction / General Contracting About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Milwaukee. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in the field while working alongside experienced project managers and superintendents. Key Responsibilities + Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction activities. + Support project managers with budgeting, cost tracking, and procurement. + Review and manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders. + Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with contract requirements. + Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. + Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety. + Help prepare progress reports and presentations for stakeholders. Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. + 0–5 years of experience in construction or engineering (internships and co-ops count!). + Strong organizational and communication skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD) is a plus. + Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. + Willingness to learn and grow within the company. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $52.88/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
